Eerde International Boarding School set a brand new academic year! The team couldn’t imagine better bonding activities within current and newly enrolled students than having them spending great times together. The Week Without Walls this time were chosen within the aspect of Culture and Nature.
The Week Without Walls was an incredible success down in Belgium with Outward Bound and the student partners Nature providing a strenuous and challenging timetable of activities for our youngsters to engage in. From rock climbing, to orienteering in the night, to Monkey Tree Climbs and many challenging team building activities, fun was had by all and we certainly achieved our goal of stretching our comfort zones. We know that learning extends beyond the classroom and this is a great example of this. For many it was their first experience of camping in what were challenging conditions, my admiration goes out to all who braved the elements on those nights, well done!
Lastly, a big thank you to our staff who helped run the trip – without them giving up their free time, none of this could happen. We work in passion giving our students the best experience that they could get.
