On March 5th, we hosted the highly anticipated 2025 Inter-house Eerde Poetry Slam, bringing together students and teachers for an inspiring evening of poetry. With 12 participants showcasing their talent, the event highlighted the rich cultural diversity of our community, as poems were performed in multiple languages.
A huge congratulations to Kiki, who claimed first place with a captivating retelling of a Chinese song text. Lisa secured second place with her heartfelt original poem, while Hangu took third with another beautiful piece. Each performance was unique, making the event a true celebration of creativity and expression.
The evening wouldn’t have been the same without our wonderful hosts, Jenna and Ashley, who kept the event engaging and lively. A special thank you also goes to Victoria and Anya for capturing the moments through filming and photography.
Overall, the 2025 Eerde Inter-house Poetry Slam was a resounding success, and we look forward to even more powerful performances next year!
