Last week, during spring break, 21 students, accompanied by 4 staff members, set off on an unforgettable ski adventure in the stunning Ski Amadé region of Austria. Over five exhilarating days, we were blessed with perfect weather and abundant sunshine, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Our group was divided into teams based on experience levels, ranging from total beginners to advanced skiers. While some students took their first steps on skis, others showcased their skills in the fun park, mastering impressive tricks like 180s and 360s. It was incredibly rewarding to witness the progress of our beginners; by the final day, everyone was confidently navigating chairlifts and gliding down the blue slopes.
We are grateful to report a safe trip with no major incidents; only a minor nosebleed on the last day. Beyond skiing, our itinerary was packed with thrilling activities. We visited Therme Amadé, where we were treated to a spectacular laser show, and enjoyed tubing and tobogganing. One of the week’s highlights was our welcome and farewell party at the cozy Rustica log cabin, where we had a blast limbo dancing, singing karaoke, and even trying our hand at cow milking!
The four-star Metzgerwirt hotel welcomed us with open arms, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. A heartfelt thank you to Siegi Tours, whose meticulous planning and organization have made this incredible trip a reality for us year after year.
Ski Week was not just an adventure; it was a journey of learning, bonding, and creating lasting memories. We had an amazing time together and are already looking forward to next year’s trip. We hope to welcome even more students on this unforgettable journey!
