In their Science class, Grade 9 students conducted a titration experiment.

Titration involves the gradual addition of a solution with a known concentration to a fixed volume of another solution with an unknown concentration until neutralization occurs. Neutralization is a reaction between an acid and a base (or alkali) and is typically indicated by a color change. In this experiment, students observed the alkaline solution turning pink in the presence of the indicator phenolphthalein. They learned to use various laboratory tools and techniques to calculate the concentrations of acids and alkalis.

The students were highly engaged and enthusiastic about performing the experiment.
