The International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) and Cambridge lower secondary are used in high schools, independent and international schools all over the world. At Eerde International Boarding School we have implemented both curriculums to offer the best of both educational systems.

The one-year pre-IB programme at Eerde International Boarding School prepares students for entry to the challenging and rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP or IBCP). This renowned international qualification opens doors to the best universities in the world.

Eerde High School Diploma
At Eerde we seek to deliver pathways that cater for a range of students of differing levels and abilities wherever possible. For some students the full IB Diploma may not be the right option for them going forward for numerous reasons.
For these students Eerde has put together a more bespoke option which involves taking a combination of IBDP courses and other courses offered at Eerde, enabling them to graduate with the Eerde High School Diploma (issued by the school) and Course Certificates (issued by the IB).
High School - IBDP: aged 16-19
IB Diploma Programme
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) prepares students for university education in a country of their choice. The programme is a pre-university qualification recognized by 3,300+ universities in more than 140 countries, and opens the doors to the best universities in the world.
At Eerde we teach the English IBDP curriculum. We also support students wanting to study their mother tongue as part of the programme.
